The structure of a nozzle check valve
Posted Nov 10, 2018
The axial flow check valve has a simple structure and is mainly composed of a valve body, seat, disc, spring, guide sleeve, guide cover, and the internal structure. See as bellow picture.

1———Body; 2———Seat; 3———Disc; 4——Spring; 5———Guide sleeve; 6——Guide cover
The opening and closing of the flap for axial flow check valve is determined by the pressure difference between the inlet end and the outlet end of the valve. When the pressure at the inlet end is greater than the sum of the spring forces at the outlet end, the valve flap is opened; when the sum of the outlet end pressure and the spring force is greater than the inlet end pressure difference, the flap is closed. The structures in valve opening and closing state are shown in Figures 2 and 3.

2 . The internal structure in open state

3. The internal structure in closed status
